Grundfoss pump replacement & pipework adaptation
Replacing an outdated pump system with a more energy-efficient pump system and associated pipework.
The challenge
The client needed to replace an outdated, inefficient pump system and improve the reliability of its utilities softened water supply.
TTN’s work
TTN installed the new pumps and skid, and fabricated and installed the associated pipework to the design and P&ID.
The outcome
The replacement provided a more energy-efficient system, with the installation work supporting reliable operation and long-term service.

Turnkey steam generator installation
A complete installation package, from the contract lift to pipework, inspection and handover.
The challenge
The client required a complete steam generator installation, including lifting, connected pipework and handover within the agreed programme.
TTN’s work
TTN delivered the turnkey package, coordinating the contract lift and the thermal oil, water and steam pipework. Welding was carried out to the relevant project standards, with non-destructive testing (NDT) and the required handover documentation.
The outcome
The project was completed and handed over before the agreed handover date.
Pipework alterations
Increasing fire-water reserve in a shared vessel
An elevated process-water draw-off increased the water volume available for potential fire-water demand.
The challenge
The vessel supplied both fire water and process water. The client needed a larger fire-water reserve but lacked the physical infrastructure to increase storage capacity.
TTN’s work
TTN modified the vessel by installing an elevated process-water draw-off, retaining more water below that level for potential fire-water demand. TTN completed the vessel-wall sealing and coating work and coordinated the confined-space works, including scaffolding.
The outcome
The modification increased the available fire-water reserve within the existing vessel. Calculations indicated that sufficient capacity remained to meet process-water demand.

Gas pipework fabrication & installation
TTN replaced all non-compliant piping and fabricated and installed gas pipework with associated valves, flanged connections and supports, with work and testing carried out to the relevant standards.

TTN delivered a full turnkey project in collaboration with the equipment manufacturer, including ductwork, assembly and installation of the filtration bed, and fan systems for scrubbing and cleaning foul air.
